What Is Cellulite?
First of all, if you have cellulite, we just want to say that it's an incredibly common condition to have, and absolutely nothing to be ashamed of! Up to 90% of women will most likely experience this condition. Cellulite is a completely harmless skin condition that appears as lumpy flesh with dimples. It's usually found on the thighs, hips, buttocks and abdomen. The condition is also more common in women, but does affect men too.
What Causes Cellulite?
There is no known specific cause for cellulite, but what specialists have found is that appears from an interaction between the tissue in the dermatological layer that is just below the surface of the skin, and the layer of fat below it. If the fat gets into the layer of the skin, that gives the appearance of the cellulite. In women's bodies, the cells and tissue are arranged vertically, but in men's bodies, they are arranged in a criss-cross pattern, which could explain why they are less likely than women to develop cellulite.
Cellulite Treatment
There are a few different ways you can treat cellulite, but one of the best ways is the 3-in-1 cellulite treatment. This treatment starts with laser lipo. A very small laser probe will be inserted under the skin, which is then fired to break up the tissue. This can also help thicken the skin as it promotes collagen production. Next, you'll have a series of ultrasonic cavitation where low-frequency ultrasound technology is used to break down fat in the area where the cellulite is. Your 3-in-1 treatment will then end with radio frequency, which helps to tighten the skin all over your body! It is suggested that these treatments are only temporary solutions, but can last up to a year! However, you may need to return in future for additional sessions.
Anti-Cellulite Massage
There are also alternative treatments, and one more relaxing and comfortable way to reduce your cellulite is by having an anti-cellulite massage! The massage cannot cure cellulite, but it can improve the appearance of the condition on your skin. Your masseur will use a special technique to massage the fat and roll it away. Again, this treatment would require more than the one visit. It's typically recommended that you have 10 sessions, which normally provides individuals with a more toned and cellulite free body!
